Your fill can be perfect and still get listings pulled if the title sounds like a drug. Here’s a simple filter we use for private label beauty.
Lead with what it is
Name the product type and format: face cleanser, body buttercream, hair oil, scalp mist. Shoppers and search engines both need that first.
Safe cosmetic language
Use words about look, feel, scent, and routine: hydrating feel, lightweight, fragrant, soft finish, daily cleanse, polish, nourish the look of hair.
Avoid list
Skip or rewrite: treat, cure, heal, grow hair, detox (as a medical claim), eczema, psoriasis, anti-aging as a disease claim, and similar drug-style promises.
Titles that work
Pattern: [Ingredient or scent] + [product type] + Private Label / Bulk. Example direction: “Turmeric Face Cleanser | Private Label & Bulk” instead of disease or growth claims.
